by submitting a poem you agree to the following.
eligibility
- open to any writer in India.
- one submission per email per cycle.
submission
- your own original work, in English.
- maximum 80 words; minimum 5.
- dawnantlers does not own the rights to your poem. it remains your intellectual property, and you are free to do whatever you like with it.
judging
- poems will be judged based on originality, craft, and whether or not they are able to survive a second read.
- each poem will be read multiple times.
- plagiarism checks will be done against each poem.
- avoid using AI tools — they have a habit of plagiarizing copyrighted works and are easily detectable.

prize
- ₹30,000 to the winner, paid by UPI or bank transfer.
